PROJECT IDEA
Architectural concept for the improvement of a public area (Mozhaysk city district, Mozhaysk, Square near the Palace of Culture)
Since 1973, creative workshops, interest clubs, children's educational and game studios have been operating in the Mozhaysk Regional Cultural and Leisure Center (Palace of Culture). This building is the main institution of the city for the development of the creative abilities of its inhabitants. At the Mozhaysk Cultural and Leisure center there is a square in which, today, there is no infrastructure for an interesting and comfortable pastime in the fresh air. The project proposes to transform the site into a Creativity Development Square (CDS): a space where art is combined with natural forms.
The area of the improvement combines outdoor recreation, art and physical activity. At the same time, each functional area of the project leaves a different impression. Various types of art are reflected in the images of the spaces of the square (they are also taught in the Mozhaysk Regional Cultural and Leisure Center): dance, fine arts, music, theater, arts and crafts.
The improved square will become one of the city's platforms for the development of creative individuals.
