ENERGY OF THE FIRST
PROJECT IDEA
The concept of the P.A. Zhuravlev square improvement at the address: Moscow region, Dubna city district, Dubna.
There are special people. They are not afraid to dream and boldly go into the unknown. They look ahead and are able not only to imagine “how it will be”, but also to embody the distant future into the present.
The history of the Bolshaya Volga district in Dubna is the history of such people. First, they built the district from scratch to ensure the operation of the hydraulic structures of the Moscow Canal, and then, when it fell into decay under the weight of time, they breathed new life into it, so much so that it still stands. They built roads, schools and houses, planted trees,
erected a factory, worked and raised children. Their children have now grown children of their own, many of whom continue to live in the neighborhood built by their grandparents.
The architectural concept proposes to reveal the history of the place of the improvement. Using spatial and visual means, it talks about the "time of the first" - the events and people who laid the foundation for today's life in the area.
In the immediate vicinity of the space of improvement there are schools, a swimming pool, and residential buildings. Young residents of the district live, study and spend time in them - its future. A good future is not possible without memory and knowledge of the past. The architectural concept proposes to revive good traditions and a powerful atmosphere of the "energy of the first" in the area.
