PROJECT IDEA
The project for the improvement of public areas at the address: Moscow region, Istra city district, Istra city, 15 years of Komsomol street with adjacent territories.

The sun is depicted on the azure background of the coat of arms of the city of Istra. The shining sun - the main element of the historical coat of arms, which speaks of the original name of the city - Voskresensk, is considered to be a symbol of peace and prosperity in modern heraldry.
The main symbol of Istra is yellow, which since ancient times has been perceived as frozen sunlight and symbolized warmth, energy, wealth, stability and joy. At the heart of the idea of the project for the transformation of the historical center of Istra is the goal of bringing it into
line with the qualities symbolized by the city coat of arms. It is proposed to make the phrase “Istra – the city of the color of the sun” the motto of future changes.
The idea of the project is to establish a strong identity for the historical center of the city. The transformation project takes into account the scale and experience in the historical center of the city of Istra, but, through color and space reorganization, it adds new layers of identity to buildings, streets and squares. The restoration of the historical building line on the main square of Istra and the direction of the “old road” laid out with paving stones on its surface will revive the memory of the history of the city, form a greater involvement in it among its residents and guests.
